Research Methodologies
Throughout my career I have used various methods in my research process. Here are the main research methodologies I utilize to ensure optimal insights are gained to inform design decisions
-

Surveys
I have designed survey questions, recruited survey participants using social media and ads, and synthesized survey data
-

User Interviews
I have conducted user interviews for every project I have been apart of. I have recruited users, drafted interview scripts, facilitated various interviews, and synthesized interview findings
-

Persona Creation
Personas are a fun way to visualize your user. I have developed personas using insights from surveys and user interviews. I have conceptualized and designed personas using design tools like Figma and Sketch
-

Usability Testing
Usability testing allows us to see our prototype in action with a user. I have facilitated usability testing interviews and synthesized testing results. I also designed prototypes to be tested for my side UX/UI design projects
-

Subject Matter Expert Interviews
I have recruited subject matter experts for various subjects including design/crafting entrepreneurship, product design, and pregnancy and birth. I have facilitated interviews with subject matter experts in AR/VR and scientific studies
-

Card Sorting
Card sorting is a great way to understand how a user thinks. This is awesome for better information architecture. I have performed card sorting using Miro for a project during my UX Design course study
